This Accessibility Statement applies to the Safeguard Foundation CIO website at safeguardfoundation.co.uk.

Safeguard Foundation CIO wants as many people as possible to be able to use our website. Accessibility is particularly important to us because the people we support may have a wide range of health, mobility, sensory, communication or accessibility needs.

Using our website

We aim to make our website clear, straightforward and accessible. This means that, wherever possible, you should be able to:

We aim to write our website content in clear language and avoid unnecessary technical terms wherever possible.

We are continuing to review and improve the website as the Safeguard Foundation develops and adds new information and services.

This is a new website and has been designed with accessibility in mind. However, it has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit, so we cannot currently confirm that every part of the website fully meets the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

We are working to identify and correct any accessibility problems. Some areas that may require further review include:
